I tried replying to the message, sending a new message from her profile page, and sending a new message from the "Send message" page. It just kept telling me that my message couldn't be sent.

Anyone else having this issue? I wasn't able to recreate the error myself, but I do remember it being a problem in the past.
no, I replied to a pm not too long ago and nothing happened.
Sometimes it seems you have to move away from the page and come back.
I haven't seen it happen for a long time either.
Since CLs weren't able to duplicate this error and no other users reported the same issue, I'm going to mark this a no-issue. Please let us know if it continues.
I hadn't experienced this issue until now. I have tried for 2 (two) days and all I get is an error message instructing me to go back and try again. I have also tried to forward a reply but get the same result.
I get this sometimes.
Condensing my messages to one or two short sentences has enabled me to send replies.
Hmmm, I get this all the time. I seem to be able to initiate a message but never able to reply or send another stand alone message to that person. After a while, I give up.
I will try the short sentence thing.
I've gotten this when trying to send mail, off and on. Sometimes sending mail works. Sometimes it doesn't. There's no rhyme or reason for it.
Yup. For weeks I couldn't send any private mail and I finally gave up. I was just able to send now. Dimes to dollars (what a weird phrase) I bet I won't be able to reply if my private mail is answered.
